Nice rooms with large beds - some of the largest in NYC, good showers, awesome check-in staff, fun bar for nighttime libations (although I wish the bar was open later).

The hotel is in a good location. Staff is helpful and friendly, and the included breakfast buffet is very good. The room was typical compact Manhattan size, but the beds were high enough to store bags underneath, which was very helpful.

The hotel is big and busy but has plenty of staff to look after you. The rooms are big and clean and the bathroom and shower all worked well. We were lucky enough to have a balcony in our room. The Breakfast is really good they have everything covered and if you need anything (like a cab to the airport or some theatre tickets) then the concierge will look after you well.

Restaurant/Places to Eat in Riu Plaza New York Times Square

Location is perfect for a visitor to Manhattan with short walks to many attractions, with Times Square / Broadway almost on your doorstep. Hotel was modern, well presented and clean with a nice cocktail bar and a handy mini-deli off of reception. Rooms are well cleaned with good sheets on a comfy bed and towels. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful.

Everything about this hotel, location, cleanliness, staff, and the all you can eat varied breakfast included in our room rate….BUT what let this hotel down is absolutely NO coffee tea or even hot water provision in the rooms. Found that very unusual and struggled to get past that which is why I have scored 9. Everything else fabulous
